Every course begins with open data from OpenStreetMap and is enriched by the golfers who play it. Every source behind the site is listed, with its licence, on our data page.
Birdied is open by invitation while we let golfers in gradually, and everyone who joins the waitlist now joins as a founding member: a founding member's seal on your profile kept for good, and invitations to bring the golfers you play with.
Anything you played. A full eighteen, nine holes, a par-3 course, a pitch and putt loop, a scramble, a practice round where nobody kept score. Birdied's Atlas is a record of the courses you have actually played, so the only test is whether you were there. There is no completion score to chase and no ranking of one round against another.
Yes. You played golf on a golf course, so log it and the course joins your record like any other. Pitch and putt and mini-golf layouts do stay off the default country and region lists, which are full-length golf, but each one keeps its own course page and you can find it in search.
Yes. A par-3 course is a golf course, and playing one puts it on your record beside everything else. Birdied does not grade a round by its par, its length or its reputation.
Yes. Nine holes is a round, and so is the twilight loop you walked off after six. Birdied records where you played rather than whether you finished a card, so you never have to decide whether a round was worthy before you log it.
