Pebble Beach Golf Course vs Spyglass Hill Golf Course

By Scott Mabin, Founder

They sit minutes apart on the same peninsula and golfers routinely play both in a trip, so the only real question is which one gets the clear day. Pebble Beach is the coastline: a handful of holes right on the cliff edge, small greens, and the ocean genuinely in play. Spyglass Hill opens in the dunes, then climbs into the pines and stays there, and for most players it's the harder card of the two. Give Pebble the good weather for the views. Play Spyglass when the fog rolls in, because you weren't going to see much out there anyway.
